To get started, visit Strava’s website and sign in with your existing account information.

Step 1: First, select your profile image from the menu at the upper right. Next, select Preferences from the menu that appears.

Step 2: Navigate to the next page by selecting My Account from the left-hand menu, and then clicking the Get Started button under Download or Delete Your Account at the website’s footer.

Step 3: The third step is to click on to the following page, where you will find instructions for completing Step 3: Click the Request your Archive button to access the backup of your information and then delete your account. Once your account is deleted, you will no longer have access to any of your previous data.

Mark the box next to “I downloaded or don’t want to download my data” to proceed with closing your Strava account. After that, check the box labelled “Request to Delete Account.”

After clicking the link, Strava will send a confirmation email to the address you provided. Strava would notify you via the email address associated with your Facebook profile if you logged in with that service.

Step 4: Once you’ve received the email, proceed to Step 4 to permanently remove your Strava account by clicking the Delete Your Account option. The organisation claims it may take up to 90 days to permanently erase all of your information from their servers.

If you remove your Strava account, all of your data will be erased permanently.
