In 2016, Snapchat acquired Bitmoji, and since then, it has been interwoven into nearly every aspect of Snapchat. No profile pictures containing the user’s actual likeness within the ghost emblem are allowed. Snap Chat requires a Bitmoji there, and you can’t opt out unless you delete the app.
Users who opt out of making a Bitmoji profile can still use a standard profile image. However, once an avatar is generated, your original image cannot be recovered. It’s the same with Snapcode.
We’ve got you covered if you want to disconnect or delete Bitmoji from Snapchat. If you’re on the receiving end of this and are looking for information on how to add or use Bitmojis in your snaps, then you should read here.
Both Snapchat and the Bitmoji app offer uninstall options for users who no longer want to use the feature. Let’s have a peek at it.
