A young mother’s death five years ago was a tragedy for Big Horn County. However, she will not be forgotten anytime soon by the locals.
The Northern Cheyenne mother Allison High Wolf, who was murdered five years ago today, was remembered at a ceremony held on Sunday in Hardin.
At the service, a March of the young mother’s loved ones sang songs and shared anecdotes about her.
Allison was only 26 at the time when she was murdered in the Rodeway Inn, due to what relatives and friends say was domestic abuse.
Allison’s loved ones claim that the individual suspected of killing her was never brought to justice.

Family photos of Ms. Highwolf’s face and neck taken before her autopsy did not reveal any of the marks she had detailed, a family member was told.
