Codi Bigsby, age 4, has not been found despite a massive search operation. The Hampton police department is now looking into the boy’s disappearance.
Police are no longer using grid searches with large teams, but they are “meticulously going through massive amounts of evidence” to find Codi.
The disappearance of young Codi has made his father a person of interest in the police investigation taking place in Hampton.
As of this writing, Bigsby is still incarcerated on seven counts of child neglect that are unconnected to one another.
The Hampton Police Division has not received any new information since Tuesday, according to a department official.

The Case of the Missing Codi
In the early morning hours of January 31st, Cory Bigsby called the Hampton Police Division to report that his 4-year-old son, Codi, had gone missing from their apartment in the Buckroe Point complex on Ranalet Drive.
Court documents obtained by 10 On Your Side’s investigation team state that he told investigators he found Codi missing when he woke up about 7 a.m.
Investigators were given a time frame of 2 a.m. as the last time Cory Bigsby saw Codi. He reported that the 4-year-old was fast asleep while dressed in full black with Spider-Man flip-flops.
Following Codi’s disappearance, the FBI joined a large, multi-agency search effort. On January 31, members of 10 On Your Side witnessed HPD.
Setting up a command post at the Ranalet Drive townhome development and conducting an investigation.
Codi’s absence did not match the standards for an Amber Alert, which includes reasonable belief by authorities that he was abducted, hence the Virginia State Police did not issue one.
When asked by the media whether they believed Codi had been abducted or was hiding out with known relatives, HPD said they had no such evidence. Sgt.
Michelle Anaya of the VSP said that HPD did inquire about whether or not Codi’s case warranted an Amber Alert, but that they were informed that it did not.
