True fans of the hit NBC talent competition America’s Got Talent know that the show’s impromptu twists and turns are par for the course.
This time, though, it wasn’t an act on the show that shocked viewers; it was judge Heidi Klum. It all started on August 10 during a live broadcast of America’s Got Talent’s 16th season quarterfinals.
An audience member captured Sofa Vergara, one of the judges, taking a selfie with host Howie Mandel in a behind-the-scenes TikTok video.
Heidi looks up from her phone like it’s nothing, and then she quickly bends over the judge’s table to get herself in the shot.
However, while attempting to strike a stance, she unintentionally flashed the audience members sitting nearby.

Even though the TikTok was uploaded the next day, Heidi didn’t appear to be aware of it until over two weeks later.
When she shared a clip from it on Instagram. On August 23 she captioned the video, “Note to self….. don’t bend over in a short skirt.”

Audience at America’s Got Talent Gets a Surprise from Heidi Klum. The celebrity released a funny TikTok video on her Instagram account on Tuesday (August 24).
While performing on America’s Got Talent, Heidi accidently flashes the crowd, as shown in a clip first posted to TikTok by user @bestfuninsf007.
For an instant, Heidi puts down her phone and goes down to join Howie Mandel and Judge Sofia Vergara in a picture.
But what she isn’t cognizant of is the fact that her short dress exposes her entire back end. A viewer recorded this clip at the premiere of Season 16 this month. However, Heidi had no idea about the error until just now.
More than 643,000 people have watched the video with the caption Heidi added: A reminder to “not bend over” while wearing a short skirt.
Fans’ Reactions to the Video
Everyone on TikTok, including Heidi, could see the humour in it. The original video has been seen over 1.3 million times, with many positive comments from fans.
One user commented, “Heidi looks lovely,” while another jokingly referred to the “everyone in the front.”
Some people found it awkward because the cameraman had to pan across at just the right moment. Coincidence? My guess is no. As someone other put it, “the cameraman strayed off target at the precise time.”
